Local support groups

The purpose of local support groups is to provide a friendly forum where like-minded OSCM graduates and qualifying candidates, or other appropriately qualified coaches, can meet on a regular basis to engage in personal development and support each other with peer supervision and sharing of best practice.

Why should I be interested?

There are many benefits from participating in a local support group. Not only can you meet and network with like-minded and trained coach-mentors, but, more importantly, you have the opportunity to:

  • receive peer supervision - which you need to do to comply with European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) standards;
  • exchange best practice and news;
  • discuss coaching issues;
  • learn about and practise new tools;
  • coach and be coached;
  • receive a signed Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certificate.
